Due to the additional need for a new class, we have an exciting opportunity for:
 
A full-time Teacher for pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties, to commence as soon as possible. 
 
MPS/UPS + SEN (1-2 points, depending on experience) 
 
Abbey Court caters for pupils aged 3-19 with Severe Learning Difficulties, and is currently located on 2 Strood sites: Nursery, Primary and Secondary (Cliffe Road) and Further Education (Rede Court Road). Facilities include an on-site school farm. 
 
judged ‘Outstanding’ in the last 4 Ofsted inspections 
IT and curriculum resources of enviable proportions 
Comprehensive induction and training provided 
would suit ECTs or those wishing to gain further experience of SEN

Due to the conditions and complex needs of the pupils at Abbey Court School, continuity and consistency of support are paramount and therefore candidates for all positions will need to commit to the full working hours of the post.
