Abbey Court caters for pupils aged 3-19 with Severe Learning Difficulties, and is currently 
located on 2 Strood sites: Nursery, Primary and Secondary (Cliffe Road) and Further 
Education (Rede Court Road). The school farm is situated within the grounds of the primary 
site. The Site Team maintain high standards of cleanliness and take pride in the 
presentation of the school buildings, following Health and Safety protocols at all times. This 
role would suit somebody with a flexible and energetic approach who enjoys working as 
part of a committed and supportive team. 
 
Working hours are: 
 
15 hours per week 
(6:00 am to 9:00 weekdays) 
  
Term time only + 5 Staff Development Days + 6 weeks holiday time working. 
Equipment, training and induction will be provided. 
 
Due to the conditions and complex needs of the pupils at Abbey Court School, continuity 
and consistency of support is paramount, and therefore candidates for all positions will 
need to commit to the full working hours of the post.
