You will be a nurturing and caring individual, who will supervise, support and guide pupils during the lunchtime period to ensure they have an enjoyable dining and play experience. You will also lead games on the playground and support pupils in small lunch groups where required.

To be responsible for the supervision of children in the following areas as well as transitioning: 

• Dining hall 

• Cloakroom 

• Playground 

• Classroom during wet lunchtime 
• Toilet Area 

On the playground: 

• To interact with the children building a positive and caring relationship with them 

• To ensure the children’s safety and notify a responsible adult of any concerns 
• Actively promote and instigate positive playground games, joining in with the pupils where relevant

Hall: 

• Constant support and supervision of children including hygiene and social skills 

• Attend to spills 

• Promote good manners and whole school ethos 
• Assist in the setting up and clearing of the dinner hall.
