Due to the promotion of our previous Deputy Headteacher within our trust, we are seeking a highly motivated, quick thinking, creative leader who is looking for their next challenge to join our friendly and supportive team. This position will suit a person who is passionate about education and leadership; who has excellent organisational skills and thrives on challenge; who has the highest expectations of themselves and our children and is a team player who can motivate and support all members of our school community. Of course they will also be an outstanding teacher who can model excellent teaching and leadership.

This post is an exciting opportunity for anybody ambitious for future leadership roles as we are looking for someone who can successfully deputise for the Headteacher. Information about the school
St Margaret’s CE Junior School is a three-form entry school situated in the heart of Rainham. We are part of the Medway Anglican Schools Trust with three other schools. We share a building with our paired Infant school. Our reflective garden, large field and playground help stimulate our children to play and learn. We have very close links with our neighbouring church and the Diocese. Our Governing body is hard working and supportive. Staff, governors and parents are keen to ensure that every child achieves their very best and reaches their full potential. Our children are happy, well-mannered and keen to learn.
