We are currently looking for a part time Speech and Language Therapist to join and enhance our high calibre therapy team
Abbey Court School caters for pupils aged 3-19 with Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties, and is currently located in pleasant surroundings on 2 Strood sites; Cliffe Road (Nursery & Primary) and Rede Court Road (Secondary and Further Education). We are looking for an enthusiastic and effective Speech and Language Therapist, with a professional, flexible approach and a good sense of humour. In essence, somebody with an interest in an educational setting and who would like to work part time in a school committed to enabling pupils to reach their full potential.
Recognised Paediatric Dysphagia training and experience working with client group essential. The successful candidate will be able to liaise closely with both the school therapy team and the visiting NHS Speech and Language Therapists to ensure that the pupil’s needs are met regarding their safety around eating and drinking.
Candidates should hold a relevant Speech and Language Therapy degree/qualification.
